Arcadia is known as one of the best neighborhoods in the greater Phoenix area and is, understandably, one of the most sought after. This east Phoenix neighborhood is bordered by Paradise Valley to the North and Scottsdale to the East. Arcadia has dozens of highly reviewed restaurants, excellent schools, shopping, grocery store variety, small businesses, hiking, luxury hotels and a centralized location to almost every area in town. The eclectic mix of older homes, new construction, varying architecture, large lots, mature landscape and mountain views gives its inhabitants everything they could want in a neighborhood. Arcadia is broken up into “proper” and “lite”. “Arcadia proper” is bordered by 68th Street to the East, Camelback Mountain to the North, Indian School to the South and 44th Street to the West. One of the main draws to “proper” is being within the Hopi School District. The neighborhoods just outside of these borders have become known as “Arcadia lite”. As the demand to live in this neighborhood has grown, so have the borders. The private golf club in Arcadia is Arizona Country Club.
